Children of the Same Sky Collection

Children of the Same Sky is a collection of ten oil paintings celebrating children from ten different corners of the world. Each child stands in their own landscape, wearing their own cultural clothing, under their own sky. But it is the same sky. The sky that belongs to all of them equally.

For thirty-two years I have worked with children as a teacher, a principal, and a mother. I have learned that every child- regardless of where they were born or what they look like- deserves to know they belong to this world and to the sky above it.

These paintings are dedicated to that belief.
